And we're launched!
This past Saturday was our Official Grand Opening! The party was a hit, and we had a really great turn out! We would just like to thank everyone who came to support our home-grown business, as well as all of our new customers. Sometimes I have a hard time believing how far we've come since April!
We're looking forward to keeping the momentum going with Apples'n'Oranges over the next few months.
We have a couple of new brands on our website, so check out Beba Bean and Hatley for more great Canadian finds for your kids.
Don't forget about our Cutest Kid in Apples'n'Oranges Photo Contest! Send us pictures of your kids showing off the latest Apples'n'Oranges fashions and they could be entered into a draw to win a boys or girls hoodie, generously donated by Traci from Peekaboo Beans. Contest deadline is October 31, 2007.

Get em while they're hot!
When we get new items, they are highlighted in our "what's new" section, but when we get re-orders of really popular items, there's no way for people to know we've gotten more in. So I thought I'd give a little recap here on some of the hot items we've recently gotten more of in.
The Peekaboo beans line is always popular, but the Fairytale coat is out of this world cute and she sold out so quickly that she had a whole new batch made. We got our order this week and they're flying off the "shelves". Check them out, we won't have them for long!
The bugalug clips are now in, so check out the selection and don't forget you can use the coupon code blogclip10 for $2 off if you buy two pairs.
From kid brother we now have the long sleeve Trucking and Railway shirts available in both red and brown, and also up to size 8 (they fit small, so that would probably be more the right size for a 4 year old).
We also have a bunch of new inventory we need to get into the system, so keep your eyes open :)

Trade show tales
Vicky and I now have a few parties under our belt, and this past weekend we attended the Starr Gymnastics baby show. Every time we set up, we learn a little something more. And almost every time we set up, something different is the hit of the party/show. Which is great - is good to mix things up! :) These shoes were so popular we sold out of all the pairs we had with us!
And we're practically sold out of the clips we told you about the other day, so if you're interested in using the coupon code, wait a week or so until we get our new stock in.
We decided we need to invest in some heavy duty signage, so if anyone has advice on where to go, or what to get, we'd love to hear. Less than two weeks to our big launch party - so much still to do! :)
